I just can't get around the fact that he can make all this awesome stuff, at MacGuyver speed...but he can't manage to build a boat.

A very cinematic first episode. I think I'm going to like this show, but I'm certain with the very limited number of episodes it won't end satisfactorily. Ah well, sometimes it isn't the ending that matters, but the journey that's important.

All too often shows get canceled, and I doubt that it has much to do with whether they are good or not. Sometimes people just don't hear much about them for the first year, and by then it's usually too late. Execs have a tendency to jump the gun.

And Lord knows their method of determining how many people are actually watching these shows is terribly inaccurate. HULU alone has proven that.
