I've watched all the available episodes and I stayed confused about Miss Parker's hostility toward Jarod. They were friends as children. In many episodes, she is helped by Jarod, and seems to soften toward him by the end of the episode, but then next episode is right back to hostility level 10. In the episode where they rescue the clone child, she is deeply disturbed and inspired to empathy by the child's plight, yet harbors absolutely not a trace of it for Jarod, who underwent the same treatment and is just trying to escape from it. How she can think its wrong to treat any child this way and then think its equally wrong for Jarod to want to escape it as soon as he can is way beyond me.   See 7 other replies

They where children . Parker gave Jarod his first kiss, so he's shy with girls we're talking about a grown man who didn't have sex till he was thirty. And a little girl who found her mother's dead body, at her parents job. Sexual tension is the understatment between those two. He misses his childhood friend and she can't go back to her innoce with all the horror she's seen.   See 7 other replies
