Elvira is a simple and great concept or bit or whatever... But coked-up insecure gay guys shouldn't be allowed to run Hollywood . And trust me, they do.

Come on now - this is classic Elvira! The contestants aren't so great, but the spirit of the show is there and its so awesome to see the Mistress of the Dark still kickin and hot as ever!

Episode 2 finds the unlucky 13 not only shopping for clothes from a lingerie store, but also acting in scenes & trying to do their best Elvira impression. Some are good, some are bad, and some are so inbetween that you can't tell if they're trying to be campy or if they just really can't act. This episode was good, but I can see why they only made 4 episodes. There just wasn't that much of a cutthroat attitude running through the contestants. I was a bit sorry to see some of the contestants go, but they just didn't really fit the idea of what an Elvira should be. It was interesting to see some of the background on the Manviras & see how they put their costumes together. (One of them actually airbrushed his breasts on-- how cool is that?)
