While this is a pretty good show, I just don't get the rave reviews. There are many holes and inconsistencies in the plot, it is only marginally legally accurate, and they get from the start to the end of two trials almost every episode. What I really don't get is the review of the "actress" who plays the DA being worth anything! She has a well written character to play, but her acting is about daytime soap opera level. Haven't you seen when she tries to demonstrate that the character is sad, or distraught? That is the worst stage crying I have ever seen! The other women in the show are excellent, the character Lindsey is so believable that one can really hate her! You can even imagine her life growing up - character's life was probably an only child, a daddy's girl with a mother who doted on her and basically lived for her and through her. She became a self-entitled stuck up brat - very intelligent but unable to see herself. "Lindsey" is so self absorbed she blames others for every negative thing that happens with her or within the firm and takes blame for nothing. Ever. She is power hungry and fully self absorbed. I could go on, but the point is she makes a very lifelike character. But Helen? Completely unbelievable as a real person, even down to the soft focus they use when filming her face.
