Honestly, I would have found for Jimmy and Lindsey's clients only because of the ads on finger prints and mail order gun kits. However, I serious doubt whether the gun industry would have ads featuring finger print resistance and I don't think I have ever heard of mail order gun kits. Besides, I doubt the gun industry markets to the socio-economic classes most likely to have crime in it. Its not like they have an ad saying "Yo, yo, yo homey! Here is the 411 on the fly-est gun. This 22 mm Glock for $XX.xx will bust a cap in their @$$!" I think the $7 million was ridiculous. That should have been knocked down to $1 million in my opinion. I don't buy that because a weapon gives off "spray fire" that that weapon is not designed for self-defense. If a burglar escapes a house with one of those firing at him or her, I serious doubt whether that house would be robbed again. Oh, and by the way, I don't own a gun.
I can't believe Eugene's ex-wife. Eugene is a good father and I just think Eugene needs to have longer conversations with his son about his work and how he isn't excusing the behavior of his client's but rather being a check on the prosecutor's power. Defense attorneys are needed to fight for the U.S. Constitutional rights of the client. "nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;" - 5th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This means even guilt people (murderers, rapists, drug dealers, etc.) need protection from the government.
