What a story, heartwarming yet sad.
A must see.
And its interesting to see a movie with Babe Ruth in it and the old black an dwhite film.
You wont be disappointed.

Gary cooper was the best actor of his generation. His humility snines thru every role he plays.I love this film.It never gets old.

wow still cant get over watching the REAL Babe Ruth! this is the coolest movie to watch for any Yankees fan...even if they screwed up with the whole lefthanded deal...unfortunate but what can you do...

the only problem they really had was that Gary Cooper was right handed and Lou Gehrig was left handed so they had to film all the baseball scenes backwards where Gary Cooper would be standing on the left side and run bases going to the left instead of the right and then they flipped the film to look like Gary was on the right running the bases the right way.
