I like all the story ideas I've watched in the different episodes but one thing consistently bothers me, it all seems so forced. The acting is cosistently over emotional, I'm guessing its from the directing because I've seen a few of these actors in other things and they are fine. it won't stop me from watching more episodes but i do wince while i watch.
think about it, x files and other shows have more crazy storys but you go along with it. Ware house 13 too, great acting with zany ideas and fringe really brilliant, which I love. the acting doesn't have to be so schmaltzy.
I'd say the bartender, and the 2 main police characters, even Doe's side kick wacky assistant are fine but john and the others ouch, As i said I'll still watch it but what a pitty

The show has it flaws. But what show doesn't? I think overall the show is entertaining and we all want to know where he came from, whats up with the symbol and who are the mystery people trying to get at him? Meaning the people who killed the older lady that tried to deceive him. Answers we need and the reason we watch. If you watch the show and follow it wanting to know the answers then the producers have done their jobs. Congrats!
