I logged and fought wild fire for years, and have to admit this was amusing. Regardless of your background I reccomend watching this episode, it's very entertaining.

Different Perspective
I actually thought these bosses were nice guys and that is not sarcasm. With all the stupid clumsy crap these guys were doing, they were surprisingly patient. The assistant boss with the large mustache, if I was working in logging, I'd want him watching my back. If the bosses didn't push their workers like that, nothing would ever get done.
Besides, if you were paying attention, you would have noticed at the beginning of the episode the bosses were being nice about it, but they had to crack down quite a bit to deal with the general incompetence flying around. I will say one thing in the contestants defense, it's a lot easier and safer to learn a job when you're the one new guy in the group, as opposed to a whole crew of greenhorns. For those of you who think I'm blowing smoke, I used to work on a workover rig as the derrick hand repairing oil wells and this was exactly how I learned my job, by having much more experienced workers chew me out and make fun of me for every mistake I made until I stopped making them. There is no better or faster way to teach someone a job. To imbatman505's comment, the reason why that boss said he regretted getting into this was not because his time was being wasted, but because those two idiots nearly got themselves killed and they were too oblivious to even realize it. One of them even tried to make excuses! When you do something that you've been told to never never ever do, you shut up and take the tongue lashing because you deserve it. Was this review helpful?

Bosses are fools
These bosses were either hamming it up for the camera or they are just plain jerks to work for.
