Should be mentioned - listen to that crowd noise. Fans all over the 'net say the Irish crowd is only quiet now because "they don't give the fans anything to cheer about." But here was a mediocre Bob Davie-led team, down 3 TDs in the second half to a mediocre SC team, and listen to that crowd. Even before it's obvious they can come back. The crowd is loud. Something has happened to the ND home crowd in the years since, that they no longer have any kind of home field advantage. It's like they're playing in a funeral home.
