I did not know what to expect upon first glance but these happy hippies actually have turned a hobby into an entertaining product. The actual video editing resembles a skate video from the California Competitions from the 80's. The unique creativity comes in the form of many ramps that actually turns trash into treasure. Even if you are not interested in skating or other extreme sports this show will get your mind active with imagination. The Host though creative is a shameless self promoter it would seem. In the course of the episodes I have watched there has has been a theme running that cannot be forgotten. The fact that he says "Built to Shred" almost every section(between commercials) gets to be a major fact that he needs to come up with some new transitional phrases. I mean, we already know that we are watching Built to Shred; no need to let us know every 5 minutes. Perhaps the marijuana these hippies are smoking have impaired the remembrance of. The ways in which they are able to adapt ramps takes a lot of thought - planning and math. This would not be easy for anybody to attempt; but they make it look easy. Keep up finding the dirtiest locations and they will build the ramps. Shred!
