This movie, while pretty slow paced and suffering from a "meh" of a story, has a dark strange atmosphere that pulled me by the tail to keep watching it. It makes you think the film is going to get better, but it really doesn't. The ending will probably leave you pissed off, and it's full of continuity errors, but if that doesn't make a good b-film, I donno what does. If like another review says, Romero got his influence from this, then it was only because he knew he could make a better film. In the world of media and movies, this is called "The Plan 9 Effect." It doesn't mean your story is good, it just means if Plan 9 (the best worst movie ever) was made, why shouldn't yours be made?
