But then again, I love old B&W thrillers like this. The only thing that bugged me was the subliminal messages. Other than that, I really loved it and would watch it again.
Yes, there were several subliminal messages. After the first two flashes, there was a "BLOODY MURDER" in scary lettering, too. I think this film was made when subliminal messages were more common.

I love old movies and have seen a lot of them. This has to be one of the stupidest, worst ones I've ever seen. The writing, the plot, none of it was any good or made any sense. What a waste of time.
If you view the movie you find out what is really going on.<spoiler> She has amnesia and the husband is trying to get her memory back. Its a love story! </spoiler>
