Good story sure, but not to funny
I didn't care for the subplot with the family and the game. The main story was ok but just felt off and not that funny. MEH

Different from Family Guy
I think Seth MacFarlane is trying to take the show in a different direction than the random, cheap laughs that Family Guy often succumbs to (not that I don't like it too). I was really surprised by the different style and format and lack of many obvious Family Guy-esque jokes.
It was well-written, different, and funny without trying too hard. I'm impressed! Was this review helpful?
