Love this show
Mostly I just wanted to say this show is great. Well written with interesting subtext and fun plots and dialogue. The acting is solid. Damian Lewis is great in this role. Then I read what fantastic.poison said and had to make the point that Crews was never an ideologue. Buddhism isn't zealotry, it's the middle way, and the struggle to keep a non-extremist perspective. Prison basically broke this character, adding to his overall instability, but through-out the series all the writers have maintained the deep and profound undertone of a character searching for his own humanity whilte struggling with what it means to have authority, power, seek peace, justice, and remain curious in an ever-changing world where people suffer from weaknesses and injustices and are often powerless and unaware. Or maybe I'm just getting too deep. ;) Can't wait to see the rest of this season. Thx Hulu.
