I found it a little unsual that all you could see are white faces. It would have been nice to see a more diverse crowd, being an AZ resident, I know there are other races here.

There is no doubt Palin was completely out of her depth. If you seriously think she should be VP after watching this, you need a new pair of ears and eyes. It's obvious she memorized lines on specific topics, and everytime she was asked a question on something she had no answer for or didn't understand, she either completely changed the topic, or smiled and tried to act cute. She also got most of her facts, much more so than Biden, completely wrong. My favorite was when she kept calling General McKiernan General "McClellan". I nearly threw up when she said the words, "Drill, baby drill!", "You betcha", and, the worst one them all, "Doggonit!".
Also, what the hell was she thinking with that shoutout to the third graders? That's an obvious pander to the hockey moms of the world.
Undeniably, Biden won, but I wouldn't say this was his best. His love of John McCain was evident, but thankfully, not as much as SNL portrayed. He took his sweet time warming up, but was passionate and captivating by the end. He successfully controlled his comments, though he let slip a few laughs when Palin was making a fool of herself, and I'll bet what he was scribbling on that pad was something along the lines of "airhead!". Unfortunately, there was a point where he kept going on about "deregulation", without really defining the term, probably losing most of the American public for a while.
Oh, and that part when he chokes up when he mentions his wife and son in the car accident and nearly cries, planned or not, was priceless.
Overall, I got few answers, Ifill looking almost visibly iritated when she asks them to answer the darn questions. Nonetheless, this is politics, and hey, there were a lot more answers to be found here than in the first Presidential Debate.
