I don't want Light to kill Ray Penbar. He's a good guy...or at least seems like it.

The Death Note probably works with military time. For example, 11:45 pm would be written as 23:45. Oh, and am I the only one who has watched this before? I hate Light.

It sort of did fail with the inmates who could not do the tasks written for them to perform before they die, but still, the power that it does have is amazing. It was such a well thought out plan that it seems not only to take control and effect the person it is going to kill, but can also manipulate other people like the person who was driving the car who hit the bank robber and killed him. Light wins again as his wits are used to find out the name of the man who is following him. He might kill him, but he doesn't think light is the killer. Might it not be better to let him live? If only Light could find this fact out. Another 5 star for this great series. Dio Omicida -out-

I love the show and everything, but one thing that I noticed is why doesn't he have to write either am or pm when he kills people. That means the book could just make assumptions just like with the heart attack thing. Like he could have wanted him to die at 11:45 am, but instead the crazy guy gets off, runs away, and is found dead later because he died at 11:45 pm. Just a slight inconsistency I've noticed so far and it might say something in future episodes concerning this.

I just found out what Lights decision was. After I heard his answer, I wasn't to surprised. Light basically said to Ryuk that "It's out of the question." What he meant was if he is going to become a god, then he will need all the years he can get, even if having Shinigami eyes will make it easy to continue using the Death Note. It would still be sweet to have eyes that could tell you a persons name and life span just by looking at them.

the first episode i hated, but now they are getting very interesting so i'm watching more. I like L, but light is jacked up in the head. lol Ryuk is just randomly following him.
