Here's the thing keep watching and it gets more complicated and the evidence does stay. It's true that he did refuse the deal with Ryuk it was still a smart move. But he does find a way to use the Shinigami eyes without cuttting his life span. He uses Misa and ends up killing Rem. Even if he didn't live a long time he still did a singificant amount of damage. And about Ray and Light they couldn't suspect because there were a bunch of people around there and plus Light was pretty concealed it could've looked liked he just stopped behind him surpised at the events taking place butI see the point it is a bit odd. But then again they didn't know where Ray was and everything til they saw the vid so there was no reason to even suspect he was there. See 7 other replies

Wow! L is just adorable! I love how he's always scratching and how much sugar he put in his tea..lol! I wonder if Light will kill that woman?

Light if he did get caught and told them about the book, they'd examine it, and see Ryuk... the same thing that happened in Vol. 7 when they caught Higuchi See 7 other replies

A story can have fantastical elements and still be presented realistically. Death Note, like pretty much every other modern anime, is "Our world, but with X and possibly minus Y." Even if I read a book about dragons, I do not expect them to reproduce by hocking spit into the clouds. See 7 other replies

You can't really talk about real world security in a series about notebooks that kill people. Even if he did get caught with a complete list of names of the victims, there would be zero physical evidence linking him to any crimes, zero motive, and no murder weapon. He could tell the jury an invisible demon gave him the power to kill people in exchange for apples, and they would lock him up it an asylum. They'd probably let him bring his notebook and watch TV, and he could still people. See 7 other replies

Light seemed to run into a bit of luck, running into the girl who could have given away so many secretes. What are the odds of that happening. I think one thing that I don't agree with in this episode is that she used to be an agent, she know probably most if not all the information, why then did she tell so much right off the back? Sure, Light doesn't seem like the type, but she seems like she would be smart enough to hold information back, but she went on about everything. Aside from that, it was an other great episodes. So far, nothing to be deemed that worthy of pointing out. I even like the music. Dio Omicida -out-
