I agree that subs are generally better I just can not watch naruto in English It is horrendous I do however think that some shows actually are fantastic in english one I know if is Beserk another I like is Fooly Cooly See 20 other replies

Original. Inspiring. Unique. Compelling. Creative. Different.

These are all words I would use to describe this show. This series is beautiful, dark in some moments, but all in all is a wonder in the fantastic realm of imagination. This isn't for the mechanimae, isn't for the over the top graphical freak. This is a show that will grip you to your core about the unknown.

I would recommend watching episode 17 if you are an "understanding junkie"
what I mean by that is that if you wish to know what it is Exactly- what it is that they are talking about, this is the episode that explains it.

Hats off to the makers, this is the dopest shaz that I have seen in a long time.

I think it really depends on the specific show, and how it was done. It's not like all dubbing is of the same quality, and even though animation is a visual medium, there are some series' where what you're hearing is more important.
Actually, even after you take all this into account, there are some series where I prefer the dub or the sub, not because it is superior in quality, but because I ran into it first, and it is these voice actors that I built a relationship with. See 20 other replies

for me it depends on the situtation/ the anime. Baccano for example sounds great in english because it takes in new york and chicago during the 1930s, plus miria's japanese voice is way too high pitched but for others like strike witches, i like subs better. mushi-shi i like it in both but i really like it more in english than in japanese, it depends on how i feel as well.
