i thought this show started off stupid but got better as it went on......this is hoping that it does but for now i would say about 6 out of 10

A failure so bad...
it was EPIC. Please put the original Knight Rider on, and trash can this crap. The horrible acting and the ridiculous dialogue. The original KR had less of a budget, less tech and it could still blow this new KR out of the water.

Glad I'm not a kid now
When I was a kid, back in the '80s, this was a pretty cool show. Watched most of the episodes. I can't really see this rehash going anywhere. The effects are cheesy (except for possibly the inside HUD), the acting is pretty bad (can't believe I'm going to say this, but I miss David Hasselhoff! I did get a chance to see the cameo), and as many others have said, the choice of car is all wrong. It isn't that it has to be all American, which the new GT500 isn't, but the look is just wrong. It needs to be sleek and stealthy. The Ford just doesn't work. Although, with the weird morphing ability, it appears the car choice doesn't really matter. It can go from fast car to clunky truck in nothing flat. Also, the new military style missions don't work as well as the old crusading cop type missions. And where are the old bars where Michael used to pick up all those women? Plus you really can't run into that pack of tough bikers with this show.
Since I caught it here on Hulu, I only got to see the last 45 minutes of the 2 hour movie, but if the rest of it was anything like this, I can't see this show lasting past the first season, let alone too far past the first episode. I don't think this "Mike" can make a difference. Was this review helpful?
