Hey guys, remember, this is the second episode.. X-Files took YEARS to fully develop into what we all remember. When it first started out it was very cheesy. Go check out Season 1 of X-Files and tell me it's any better than this.
Lets let this show have a little breathing room to. It's going to be a hard balance between "monster of the week" and an overaching plot line (the Pattern), I agree.. and it took X-Files about 4-5 years to get the formula down. Don't be so quick to judge here.
