An Unlocked Window is one of my favorites along with Where the Woodbine Twineth, The Jar and The Trap of the hour-long episodes. And there is every possibility that the house featured is the Bates house since Revue was affilated with Universal Studios where Psycho was filimed. I happened to see something on T.C.( forgot what his name was) Jones, the homicidal nurse in this feature, on a website. He was considered one of the best female impersonators of his time- impersonating Talullah Bankhead, Bette Davis and a few others. He was married. He met his wife while searching for a wig in her beauty shop. He was also in the Monkees' movie, "Head" where he played a married couple. He died in 1971 at 50 from cancer.
No joking, ever wonder if Richard Speck ever saw this particular episode?

It's not what happens in the end. It's how we traveled there. Scary stuff when you're 9 years old on a Friday night. This never gets old.

If you've ever wondered why they call Hitchcock a master of suspense, this is your answer. I don't care if I suspected the end before it happened - that made it even creepier!I love Alfred Hitchcock presents, but when I started watching the Alfred Hitchcock Hour I was mostly disappointed - the episodes I was watching were too long for the story, or disappointingly obvious. I may have just chosen the wrong episodes - they really hit the mark here. I was having annoying technical issues, and it still didn't destroy the mood. The rain effects in the episode would have seemed overdone to me a year ago, but we had several rainstorms that looked exactly like that last summer. Not sure I'll be able to sleep through it if we have them again this year . . .Amazing television - they don't make 'em like this anymore.

Hahahahahahaah! No greater satisfaction than figuring out the twist at the end half and hour through! Loved it, what a great episode.. my favorite thus far.
