Good to see this again after 40 years!
Yes, I still basically remember this particular episode. I was only 11 when I saw it. The ending was a total surprise to me at the time. It's weird how they show the guy's hairy chest. I guess they had to show he was a man, although the hair looks kinda fake. The house looks like the one used in Psycho. Louise Latham is hilarious, especially when she tries to imitate the killer's laugh. I'd recommend this episode even though the pacing is slow and several problems with the story. It's great hearing Bernard Herrmann's music in the soundtrack.

This episode was stretched thin for a 60 minute spot. It would have been much more effective for a 30 minute show. Even so, it's one of the creepiest, scariest Teleplays ever broadcast in the history of TV.

This episode seems as creepy as ever. Believe me, at the time the show was first broadcast the ending was unique for TV and totally terrifying.
