that was aweome, didn't see that coming

This episode was rather good and I think it is a misuse of hulu's rating system to critique hitchcock's entire film history using the rating system on this particular episode. What about this particular episode was misogynistic? If anything, it was the main male character who brought immense pain upon himself due to his own selfishness, not his wife or mistress.

just look at his movies. hitchcock may have treated his alma as good as gold, but on the screen he vented all of his frustrations and fears and hostilities toward women.janet leigh is brutally stabbed in the shower in psycho. tippi hedren is ripped to shreds by a flock of birds in birds and then she's violently raped in marnie by that gorgeous sean connery. kim novak is used and abused and murdered in vertigo not once but twice by james stewart. ingrid bergman is prostituted and pimped by cary grant in notorious.yeah hitchcock has huge issues with women, but i love several of his movies and i adore his tv series. there are a couple of women that hitchcock didn't give short-shrift on screen and that's theresa wright in shadow of a doubt and doris day in the man who knew too much.

his wife is more than 50 lbs overweight not 14. Quite typically for Hitchcock every woman is a guilty, deceitful schemer. Every single one of his films places the fault on the female character, it couldn't be more blatantly sexist.
