Prison Break.
That means u break out of a a PRISON. The first season was pretty much PB at its best. I loved every moment of it. Unpredictable, gritty and nerve-wracking it was quite a ride. The second season still had elements of a prison break. The way Michael had pre planned so much was quite ingenious. It also made sense. Eluding the authorities when being the most wanted men in the entire nation requires skill, determination and a good solid plan. The third season...was a slight drag. There was almost no clever planning, no tricks up the sleeve, in the end it was just running out of prison with some nifty time work. The whole lechero/gretchen sideshows took up most of season 3...going from a prison break to a crappy spy movie. The fourth season has none of the charisma and story of the first season. Its turned into a lame, far-fetched spy game. The ingenious schemes that once held so much charm are non-existent. Character progression is HORRIBLY lame. Sarah Callies in particular should have stayed dead. Her lack-luster 'traumatized" acting makes me want to puke. She ends up being a third wheel and horribly annoying. If anything to bring back the series, Sarah should be booted. Sucre, Lincoln, Schofield, and Mahone(this guy i love) should stay. Bellick is a half n half. He has potential but has done nothing so far. If the Producers want a female on the show they should get some one who can act, not look pretty. The Company should start to manifest itself as a shadowy organization, not a bunch of random people who meet in random places. At this point the Company just isn't plausible. The black guy should be removed and Gretchen should regain her place. In the third season she played the part of a cold agent wonderfully. I was hoping her to see her as a bigger protaganist and was looking forward to her character progression. Instead she ends up another fugitive at odds with the Company. Her character role should be consolidated and progressed. Instead we have a completely new Gretchen and some black dude doing exactly the same things Gretchen did in season three.
