This isn't a news show, there is no reason why the talk show should "make fun of both sides" if they don't want to. They're comedy writers- if they think they can get better jokes for any certain side or cause, there's no pressure to be nonpartisan. It's not a news show proclaiming fair and balanced coverage. It's a late night comedy show that features a masturbating bear.
