I've never submitted a review before on hulu, but I had to for this movie. It is an amazing movie and I cried like a baby. I've never watched it before.. seriously so good.

I feel that this is one of the very best films that I've seen in quite a while.
Ya never know when you're going to come across such a Grand movie.

The idea of a soul inhabiting the body of another person temporarily like this is a new subject for a movie; at least I have not seen it in film before. I have heard of this happening though, from some Indian friends. Interesting subject.
The film does help parents and teenagers to talk more about their lives, and what's important. That is a good thing also.
I thought the acting was good all around also. The young girl had a tough role I thought, and she pulled it off well.
The tape at the end was the only weak point of the film. I thought it lacked realism; the mother would have explained things a little more. But they probably didn't want to add too much time at the end, and it would have probably bored the audience to listen to the story they already knew, so I guess it made sense to abreviate the taped message.

Exceptional movie. A must see for parents of teenagers.

I have a teenage child, and the makers of this movie played me like a marionette with strings attached. I was completely captive to this movie. Duchovny would not be my choice for the father, but fortunately, his placid face does not succeed in tearing the fabric of illusion that the movie weaves. The teenage daughter is perfect. Perfect in this role. The tape at the end is a letdown, but it didn't matter much, the drama ended when the daughter returned. I guess there had to be a tape, I suppose it could have been a lot better, but it wasn't important, i'd had my cathartic movie experience already.
