If I didnt see all these reviews I dont think I would have hung in ther but I do love tough females! That intro with the dog broke my heart and without seeing the rest, I reasoned it was a kind of foreshadowing of things to come. And it was, she learned that from the Russian, who had tied her lover. And why did they do that only to him?? My mind goes back to the dog or to the sterile landscape. The imagery reflects patterns. . It could be a movie about Darwinism, a movie about life on the fringes of Russia, China and India or a movie about insanity. My mind is going back to what she told her, Dont go with him, he will disappear into the mist. I dont think she was really talking about him, but her lover, and I dont think she said I love you to him, but to her lover..... This reminded me a lot of I am Dina. Surreal, Captivating but Disturbing.
