I've seen worse, and I've seen better. However, this is very enjoyable and a worth see.

America Eats on the History channel has more than one documentary about the hamburger that are way better than this amateurish attempt to tell this story. Maybe I just don't give a shat about "historic" California eateries.

The reason why only one Burger joint could still have the original seats is because NO one would be able to set at the tables. Thats the main reason all of those places had to remodel. Of course McDonald's had to have their Big Fat Corporate Noses in this wanting to tear down one of the 1st McDonald's. The only thing that Drive-Thurs created was a Fatter person. Watch "Super Size Me" & "McLibel" & you will understand my hate & rage at McCorporate.

Yum. I grew up eating at most of the joints in this film and can say from experience, they are all awesome. Cool flick, I love Los Angeles and it gets a bad wrap sometimes with all the Hollywood pop garbage. This is a reminder that L.A. has a heart and soul in American history.

Movie made me fall asleep but more crave for burgers!

Rhonda: There's a reason this is called Burger Town and not Burger Planet. This is about Southern California and a nostalgic look at classic burger joints. They're something very special to CA residents.A lot of big franchises started here too; McDonald's, Carl's Jr., Jack In The Box, etc. California is truly Burger Central...and don't get me started on all the other fast food joints that sprung up from California too. The list is enormous!Anyways. Awesome documentary. I live in So Cal and these are indeed the most awesome burger restaraunts around! I live within walking distance of an In-N-Out and it's really tempting to go over there after watching this.
