Polygraph testing takes place before the show is aired. They are asked 50 questions on the polygraph and only 21 of them are picked for the show. The contestant has to re-answer the 21 chosen questions on the show and the response is then compared to the polygraph readout. I don't think it's rigged. I just think that people can't decipher exactly how they feel about situations...no black and white answers. Makes the show interesting I think!   See 1 other reply

I think this game is rigged they been asked 50+ questions via a polygraph and the producers get to hand pick the questions out of those for their 21 questions A.) for entertainment value of watching the the person in the hot seat squirm and friends a relatives reaction to the answers plus B.) they already know what questions have been asked that yielded bad readings
I've watched a few shows now that the person in the hot seat seem surprised by a 'false' answer they thought and at times knew to be true.It seems those questions are red flagged by the producers so they don't have to pay out. If my life wasn't so boring I'd love to get on the show and answer them all correctly but that doesn't make good television does it.I know,I know they can change their answer if they like from the answer they gave during the polygraph but how can one change what they think is true but gave a false reading because polygraphs are not 100% accurate.Still rooting for some one to get the big pay out   See 2 other replies
