When this situation plays itself out in our time, it usually ends up in a courtroom. I don't remember any female teachers getting busted in the early 80s. Its a nice fun, teen-fantasy movie and having Crispin Glover (pre Back to the Future) doesn't hurt the comedy stylings at all. Its funny how she covered herself from the dirty old man republican father, but also was cool enough to swim nude and let the son drink wine. I also like the band at the birthday party doing the base line of My Sharona.

It was alright. I thought it was funny how the time changed from 2:16 to 2:13 in his room lol, yeah we all saw that.

So the french tutor has issues with the kids dad looking at her legs (his office when she meekly pulls her skirt over her knee) but wandering down to the pool for a naked midnight swim at the home of client is acceptable to her?
Seriously, by the show of hands, how many of you find this movie even remotely plausable?
Still as 'Coming of Age' 80's flicks go this one wasn't bad.

Hey its an 80's movie. Lots of bad ones at the time(I saw all of them) This one is a little step up. And Caren Kaye, god was she hot!!
