I don't agree with the first part of your comment. A person can only pursue another person for so long without getting anywhere before they tire of it and move on. Emmett WANTED a relationship with Daphne but she wasn't having that. It took meeting Bay for Emmett to finally admit to himself that Daphne wasn't the one for him. She can't expect things to be the same between them anymore. He's still her friend....just not as close as before, which is to be expected. As for the last part of your comment, I completely agree with you. I didn't like it at all when Emmett started pressuring Bay into having sex with him.....I thought he should have had more respect for her. I wanted to slap him for being like that! I used to like Emmett, but now I'm thinking you're right......he's not good enough for Bay or for Daphne. Both girls deserve better!   See 12 other replies

that's true...I can see why Emmett wouldn't feel very friendly toward Daphne. I could even see him resenting her. He was in love with her for six years or so, and she was only interested in being friends with him. Then, he finally gets in a serious relationship with Bay, and now, all of a sudden, Daphne decides she's romantically interested in Emmett? I would be frustrated to no end with her!
