As a kid (about 8 years old), I would watch The White Shadow religiously. I really loved the show, but then of course...I was only 8 at the time. So, 30 years later (holy cow, I'm getting old), I decided to see if the show stood the tests of time.
I'm happy and shocked to say, this show is outstanding! I just finished the episode,
"Mainstreaming" and was really impressed with the overall good nature/good intention of the show. Not to mention, several aspects of this particular episode stood out...slow tracking shot as Coach Reeves worked with the autistic Thomas as well as overall feel of a production that didn't seemed to be rushed. Scenes that would have been cut for time in today's world, were left in place (or so it felt).
Job well done! Kudos to hulu.com for selecting The White Shadow to be a part of their TV line-up!
