the staff wasn't fired, they just were sent home for the night. Being a former GM of a busy Chicago restaurant near Wrigley field I can tell you that a good manager HAS to send staff home a lot of times--they even have programs like Aloha that allow you to monitor times where staff costs are getting out of line. People that work in the industry know about this and often times they are fighting over who GETS to go home because if you're sending people home, then you're not doing good business. Katie, the server that was sent home was back waiting tables the big reopening night as well as the dishwasher--but apparently your attention to detail isn't there and you also allow emotions to rule your judgement so you probably should stay away from this industry. As Gordon said in this episode to Joe "Don't take it personally, take it seriously." Do you watch the end of these shows? If you did, you would see almost every member of the staff in almost every show expressing sincere heartfelt gratitude to the man (except the dead weight that deserve to be fired.) I also just realized something--you keep posting on all these shows--similar to the question asked in this episode, "If you didn't like it so much, why do you keep eating?" I bet you stalk Howard Stern.
Coolone3000--I agree "Don't mind the old bag!" is my own personal favorite moment as well--I was dying.
