Literary Pulitzer Prize winner John Kennedy Toole's A Confederacy of Dunces meets British poet Lord Byron's Don Juan, So, We'll Go No More A Roving, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, and light shadows of the aristrocrat's personal life all rolled into one. Bravo.
Autism, mental retardation, mental illness, brain Injury, and partial seizures, in a stew of dramatics, sex, drug abuse, drinking, poverty, lack of education, lack of medical care, violence, religion, and dismal fate topped with a lottery win, weave it with meandering and wanderings in search of the meaning of life; and BINGO, you've got this modern Lord Byron of the Lower Income Louisana Suburban Bayou.
The camera work and editing on this low budget were superb. Incredible as the shooting budget was less than $1,000. Missing from this work is the stereo-typical Louisana lower income accent making the dialogue more authentic and accessible. This award winning Indie is a must see.
I tried to add this under Review; however, Hulu kicked it as "Invalid".
