I also expected this to be similar to The Office. While I love The Office, I was also pleasantly surprised to find the show definitely stands on its own. The writers have done a great job mixing the "reality TV" atmosphere with the comedy and drama needed for a successful show. I was skeptical about a show available exclusively on Hulu but this show has definitely challenged my unfounded prejudice. It is one of my favorite new shows to watch regularly which is saying something as I only watch a few shows every week. I liked it from the very first episode and would suggest you give it the 30 minutes required for a test drive. The actors are fantastic and would be good company for any A list celebrities.
