This won what? I wondered if he was the father all along, and pretended to be the other brother ("uncle Lawrence"). Leave it to the Sundance judges, they needed a black token that year I guess ;-)

wow, that was a slow moving film... Great watch for a rainy day. The characters are pretty compelling and all. WTF???? is up with the ending!!

What was the point? seriously? I get the conflict between the characters and why each feels the way they do towards one another..but then what? No goals were set or made in this movie, no triumph, no tragedy. Literally every developing plot line was left hanging at the end. I know some movies are known for what isn't said instead of what is said...but in this movie, nothing worth hearing was ever said or left unsaid.

Sometimes directors amaze me. I couldn't make out half of what was said in the part of this film that I watched. Sound volume too low, muttering, mumbling. Had to quit watching.

18 minutes was all I could take. No story, no acting, and almost no talking. Just jumping from one random scene to another such as a man sitting on a couch, lying in bed, riding a motorcycle, being admitted to the hospital, and walking in a plowed field.
