Like Mr Dunson in Red River, this, our last declared war against a real enemy, defined ground, based on simple totalitarianism versus freedom, freedom on its way to winning. So sad to see all those freedoms won by our parents and grandparents up in smoke. So glad my Dad was not alive to see that happen. Maybe we can hide for a moment in this movie where bad guys still wore black hats, and the good guys had it right.For one brief shining moment, there was Camelot.

This was in the theaters in 1943 and is a typical film from that era. I remember them also from the shows on TV and most were good. It kind of brings you to WWII as at the end it asks you to Buy War Bonds and Stamps for sale at this Theater ! Wars today are fought with missiles and unmanned drones with fewer feet on the ground.
