You people do know that this is a prequel to the first Alien right? Ridley Scott did the first Alien, along with Blade Runner etc. It is a well known story among science fiction fans that Ridley was not happy with the decisions that the movie studio did for the sequels. This IS the story of what happened before Alien took place. Although I loved Aliens and James Cameron, I preferred Alien for its story and ideas. Ridley is expanding on that and going to show how it all started. Watch the viral video of Weyland discussing at a furturistic TED about what he wants to do. If you remember, Weyland was the company that sent the Nostromo out in the first place. Doesn't take a high IQ to see the similarities and the theme. This isn't a "Aliens" remake, I don't see how anyone could come to that conclusion.
