I think the writers of this show missed a massive opportunity with this episode. I forgive all the historical improbabilities (this is a show about people with super-powers after-all), but some of the time travel logic was pretty bad. I think a bit of it could have been rectified if the writers gave Simon the time reversal power.If Simon had the time reversal power it could have resolved a couple plot issues. The first, he essentially figures out a way to travel through time, now he can go back to prevent Alisha from dying and save the others from all their associated hijinks. Second, when he transfers back to the non-Nazi ruled England, there would be two Simons, one from Nazi-controlled England, the other from the "correct" timeline. One with the power of foresight, the other with time-travel. In my mind this is a much "cleaner" time warp than when Kelly comes back with both memories of her Nazi and normal life. Yes, they could have had two Kellys to resolve this issue, but how would they get rid of the other Kelly? With Simon they could send the time travel version of him back in time to save the others and the foresight Simon could stay with Alisha, resolving that issue.Plus with two Simons, they could have played around with some very interesting time travel concepts a la Primer. I'm guessing because they already have a doppelganger character with the new guy (sorry can't think of his name right now), they avoided bringing in another "double-character" via time paradox.I haven't watched the entire 3rd season yet, so who knows, maybe they address these themes differently down the road.
