The reason why the show is so great is not just because its funny, but it deals with real life issues. Death/loss of loved ones, addiction, pride, pyschology, etc. And all the time doing it in a compelling manor, now thats good.

actors are stupid
It's not about the medicine or about ethical questions -- it's about watching House make fun of people and laughing your ___ off.
