i loved this show as a child and my highschool years
i only wish that the cast made a reunion show like chips did i know that they would have had to replace carlson since his death like his son in the show taking over or andy travis taking over and les or herb taking andys slot or johnny taking andys slot cause wkrp was one of the greats that had good tallent like hoyt axton in one episode as well as many others keep up the good work hulu

well that was an issue because of copyright format from the record companies they were threatened with lawsuites if they continued with useing the real artists like the rolling stones who etc. so to keep out of courts the producers had to use studio musicians to fill the gap with the mainstream artists like the before mentioned is why they took off the label artists ledzeplin who rollingstones etc. but i know the feeling i liked the original pilot episodes too

I did the college radio show out of the local radio station when the show originally aired. The program director was working out of a desk in the hallway while they did some construction so we put tape on the floor for his "walls". See 3 other replies

wow just hearing the intro song brought back many memories. Back then shows had great theme songs that introduced them. Shows like Bosom Buddies, Growing Pains, Welcome Back Carter, Sanford and Son, Greatest American Hero, and such ... Now a days even the stuff you hear on the radio is crap. Thanks hulu.

These morons crying about the music being changed from the original show must have been dropped on their heads as children. The music was always the biggest problem with the show when it originally aired. It was typical top-40-land garbage that people with any cool factor at all used to laugh at. I mean, Blonde for crying out loud! Nicolette Larsen, Elton John, The Rolling Stones--a veritable whos's who of crappola. Good riddance!

i used to watch this show with my family when i was about 7 years old.i loved it then and i still love it now!!!!!

That was a wonderful little "gimmick" when the show aired... it was great! LOL! He usually had some kind of bandage, visible somewhere on his person, with NO explanation. It was fun! See 1 other reply
