I was told by a friend to check out some Paula Deen's recipes so I looked on hulu for some clips.
I was HORRIFIED by her terrible cooking etiquette!
She licks her fingers, wears jewlery while handling food, the way that she gets right into the batter made my stomach turn.
I don't care if she likes to serve food with no nutritional value other then calories, but she should at least use common sense when it comes to clenliness.
Washing your hands, not having long nails or gaudy rings while handling food.
I showed my mother and sister this clip and they shared in my horror, we then went on to watch more of Paula's shows and saw that this was normal behaivor for her.
I've no clue how she could ever possibly open a restruant.
If I had a chance to have her cook a mel for me, I'd turn it down flat! I happen to like my food prepared safely and with sanitation in mind.
Think about it, do you touch your hair or face, lick your fingers, when you're making food for your friends?

This is a very simple looking recipe. I'm a little concerned about how much cholesterol is packed into those little squares, but they do look quite good. I'd like to advise these only be an occasional thing. I'll have to try them sometime.

I loved this receipe. I am a so very lover of the Mac and Cheese. I grew up with it. Would I ever try it......maybe, just a little square for me in a fry pan. These type of dishes are not to be confused with low cal/fat food. They are the treats we enjoy from time to time when we think they will not have an impact on our next docs visit ....because we eat the healty way most of the time all other times. Right reviewers? My roots are southern I grew up with this type of food. I have lots of southern eating cookbooks like this. I love reading them and every once in a while preparing the dishes. Fun dish. Prepare it if it works for your eating life style.
