Hmmm... this was offly similar to the movie Australia; only the Drover got the girl. Like any guy would have a shot at beating out Hugh Jackman. They didn't have a war going on but still getting livestock to the boat to beat out the rich jerk; same story!
This movie was great! Adventure, excitement, love, loss, Govmnt issues, riche v/s poor issues, Everything in one movie, with good taste. and fun to watch kept my attention the entire time.
I thought it was well done. When you are in the mood for something different, this is a clean movie that the whole family can enjoy. Makes good conversation to talk about Westerns and the values of the hard-working folk who live that life.
I really enjoyed the 36 commercials. Every time I start getting into the same commercials over and over and over they interfere with the movie. How sad ;)
hmmmm , a movie with plot of the rich getting richer, insider procurement of war based Govt contracts, foreclosure of homes & property, questionable banking practices. Good thing that could never happen in America!
Aussiewood has come of age!There are many very good Australian movies, but they rarely get global exposure. I'm hoping that this movie might make the rest of the world sit up and take notice. It ain't Hollywood and Bollywood any longer.Oh! And by the way, I am not Australian (Although my father was} and I don't live in Australia.
