The animation...this is not animation. This is your 10-year-old face-rolling your keyboard in a flash-program and probably tracing characters for another film. The characters are so two-dimensional, in fact, that their movement animation looks like a waving piece of cardboard. The very sight of the Puss flying an eagle was horrifically awful, I might see his poorly-synched lips flapping in my nightmares for weeks to come. The set-pieces look like something you'd see in an early '90's Adventure game on PC, so poorly rendered I would have thought come 1999, one would have better graphic art capabilities than this.
The songs are useless and only serve to only make you want to stab your brain, because they add nothing to an already poorly written script, which I'm almost certain was written in crayon and drool. Jokes are so stiff and awkward, it'd be more entertaining to pick your own scab.
This insult to any level of intelligence is an injustice to the animation market, and the reason why parents look so poorly upon animation as nothing more than an entertainment medium for children. In the right hands, with the right people, animation is a storytelling medium that doesn't resort to stupidity and bright colors to keep children entertained.
