Still kicks butt
This movie is still beautiful after all these years. Great story line and very good acting. Pat Morita (RIP) did a great job in this movie. It's as good as the original.

Better than the first
The first Karate Kid was an excellent movie, but this one is far superior. In the first movie, Daniel had to fight to save face from bullies in a tournament, but in this one, he has to use what he's learned to fight for his life. It also goes into some of the history behind Mr. Miyagi, and why he left his country. This is one of the few sequels that is better than the original.
