Description	1979: Election Night- A police interview room. Delroy's pregnant white wife has been found dead in a pool of blood and he is brought in as the chief suspect. He is interrogated by D.S. Karn, a witty, psychotic racist and his violent sidekick D.C. Wilby. Both high on the prospect of a Conservative landslide victory they try to lure him into a quick confession. But racial profiling turns to callous humiliation and quickly gives way to a barrage of sinister violence. All of this ultimately leads to a shocking and devastating conclusion.

I wish it were true we had made "tremendous strides", but I know many people (considered minorities- and i HATE that word), who would beg to differ. Some people are just racist. It's as plain as that. Sadly, too many of them are in our (all of our) police department(s), and not a lot has changed in the room.

Until people see people, rather than color and via their own screwed-up sense of moralities (and whatever else it is that makes one evil racist), we really won't ever get anywhere positive.

Not a lot has changed, in the UK or the US, and films like this should teach people just how wrong the treatment is, particularly of "minorities" in both countries.
Funny, today is election day, in the Iowa caucuses, with ridiculous rumbings of "racist" being bantied about, by the same people who hold fast to their own racist cores. When will we ever get past this?

I have not given a movie five stars in quite a while. This is that good- that deep, and that important.

This movie was pretty good. If you're looking for sex and nudity, then this isn't the film for you, but if you're someone who enjoys thought provoking drama's, give this film a try.

Without giving anything away....let's just say that although we've made tremendous strides racially, there's still a lot of room for improvement.
