sort of a companion piece to Amazing Journey:the Story of the Who. And that film is an exceptionally well told tale of four disparate individuals coming together to create great art and the highs and lows and triumph and tragedy and vicissitudes of four decades working together that makes for a compelling STORY. and while it helps if your a Who fan it is a film that transcends its subject matter.Whereas Six Quck Ones has more of an odds and sods (no pun intended ??) feel to it. Its like Amazing Journey:the Story of the Who is an album proper while Amazing Journey:Six Quick Ones is the bonus disc with the b-sides and demos and alternate takes and live cuts and all that. And while it has its moments and merits (Roger Daltreys live acoustic version of "beautiful boy" is certainly a highlight) and gives a look at the inner workings of the band its more for completist fanboys than anything else.
