Firstly, this show would be much better if the graphics weren't so terrible. After all of the successful portrayals of fantasy creatures, and countless effects in television that look at least mildly believable, it's hard to believe that in 2012 a show like this is going backwards instead of forward in the special effects department. Also, as others have mentioned, the show is lacking personality in the most important character. The main character is usually the one that the viewers are supposed to sympathize with the most but his lack of emotion and wit leaves viewers empathizing more for sidekicks and villains. Hopefully this show doesn't get into that predictable/uninteresting routine as all other police dramas do (ie. mysterious death in the beginning, quickly find the suspects thanks to [supernatural] instincts, break a bunch of rules along the way, solve everything by the end every time without fail). Safe to say this show is on the road to cancellation.
