The full potential of a german shepherd is working and this film shows them at their best. I have always been in awe of them and have had the priviledge of working with several in training as companion dogs for the mentally handicapped, but this film shows another side of their ability that is nothing short of amazing.
I highly recommend this film and support of the dogs of peace. Their work is desperately important to the safety of the peoples of the world.

Although this doc is from 2003, it shows exactly what types of challenges face the Afghanistan people. It will take many, many more years for them to get to where they need to be. But with the help of compassionate people and government support from around the world they will make it. We all must protect them! It is morally wrong not to do so. I always thought we should walk away due to our own domestic problems, but after watching this I see I was seriously wrong. If you love dogs, the hope for world peace, and the safety of innocent people- watch this!!! These amazing dogs respond to commands in 3 different languages!! Wow!! Just to see the trainers hearts warm after being around these dogs made me tear up. We should never give up hope for a better world. Huge blessings and hugs to all of them and their incredible dogs!!
