You know that feeling you have when you're watching a bad horror movie, and the girl walks into the dark room without turning on the light switch? This clip is like that. They say listen to your friends' reviews of books - yep, I do that - on Goodreads.com, AND I can send them messages & rate books to get accurate predictions (I'm yelling this at the screen). They say I can organize my books into folders - yep, I started doing that, and then I realized I had over 200 books and no way of finding them. Now what should I do? (more hand gestures) They say consider before you buy, but don't mention that some places (including public libraries!!) let you borrow books now, nor do they point out promotions for free eBooks, or creative commons books.
Am I being unfair? These are good tips for people who are wary of technology, and wish we never moved past pocket calculators. Well, I guess I'm not your target audience, sorry for watching.
