I'm planning a trip to Willamette for some wine tasting... Probably not wise to have to drive back the same day ;) Anyone have any good recommendations of places to stay?

Personally, I have no real interest in wine....but I gotta tell ya, he definitely makes me want to have one. If this were a show with a host that did nothing but talk about wine ...

Gary has a fantastic ability to break wines down and describe everything about the wine completely. I am still learning a lot about wines and Gary is an excellent guide to the various wine regions (old and new world) around the world.
Gary's energy is great and can easily get you excited about anything. Well worth checking out on a daily basis. Was this review helpful?

Skunkor? Wow. Impressive.
Gary Vaynerchuck, a Russian come Jersey native explores just about every kind of wine on the planet. His knowledge of the wines, the regions, and the process will amaze you. After watching a couple hundred episodes, I'm amazed by how much I have learned about wine from GV. He usually insists that you don't agree with him. His mantra is to try new things, and trust your own palate when it comes to drinking wine. His energy is infectious, and his knowledge bank is very deep. Oh yeah...this guy's a douch bag. The great thing about Gary's wine blog is that he begs the audience to NOT listen to hima nd try it for themselves. He show people how expand their palatte, and to trust it. It's refreshing to see a "wine expert" telling us that scores are meaningless.
Way to go Gary- see you at the Oct tasting! Was this review helpful?
